Our verdict — MOST TORQUE
The FLASH is the extreme end of what we cover. A 1000W Truckrun mid-drive putting out 220 Nm is more than double the torque of any hub motor here, it drives through an 8-speed cassette so the gears multiply it further, and the KZ-209 rear shock is rated to 1,000 lb. Add two optional batteries and it holds roughly 2,808Wh. It is also 110 lb, EUNORAU publishes no payload figure, no sensor type, no charge time and no rider height, and the headline 220-mile range claim does not survive arithmetic. Buy this if you want a genuinely powerful machine and you are comfortable buying with several specifications missing.

EUNORAU lists the FLASH 2.0 at $2,499. For that you get a 52V 1000W Truckrun mid-drive claiming 220 newton-metres, genuine full suspension, an 8-speed Shimano drivetrain, 180mm hydraulic brakes at both ends and a 832Wh pack with room for two more.
There is no bike on this site that comes close to it on capability, and there is no listing on this site with more missing from it. Both halves of that sentence are the review. Admiring the machine and being uneasy about the specification sheet are not competing positions here; they are the two things a buyer needs to hold at once.
What the price actually is per unit of energy
The standard pack is 52V × 16Ah = 832 watt-hours. At $2,499 that is roughly $3.00 per watt-hour. The AMYET V9-G60 is about $0.72. Nobody should buy the FLASH for its battery, and EUNORAU is not asking you to — the money is in the motor, the gearing it drives through and the suspension. That is the site's argument about the $1,200 line made in its most extreme form.
220 Nm, and why the gears multiply it
The headline figure is the largest on this site by a wide margin: 220 Nm against 85 Nm for VTUVIA's hub motors and 55 Nm for EUNORAU's own META26. But the figure alone understates the difference, because of where the motor sits.
Hub motor versus mid-drive, in one sentence
A hub motor lives in the wheel and turns the wheel, so whatever torque it makes is the torque that reaches the ground, in every gear, always. A mid-drive lives at the cranks and turns the chainring, so its output goes through the same chain and cassette your legs do — and your gears multiply it.
That is the whole argument. Shift the FLASH into its lowest of eight gears on a steep, loose climb and the reduction between chainring and sprocket multiplies 220 Nm into something a hub motor cannot reach by any amount of extra wattage. This is why a mid-drive climbs terrain on which a 750W or 1000W hub motor overheats, backs off and grinds to a halt: the hub motor is stuck at one ratio and is being asked to make its torque at a crawl, where it is least efficient and hottest.

What it costs you
All of that force runs through your chain, cassette and chainring, which a hub motor's does not. Drivetrain wear on a high-torque mid-drive is faster and more expensive, and shifting technique matters — easing off the pedals through a gear change is a habit rather than an option. The batteries, and the 220-mile claim
EUNORAU publishes a 52V 16Ah standard pack, an optional 21Ah top-tube pack and an optional 17Ah down-tube pack. Multiply each out at 52V and add them together:

Optional 21Ah: 52 × 21 = 1,092Wh
Optional 17Ah: 52 × 17 = 884Wh
All three: 2,808Wh
That is by a long way the most stored energy on this site — more than double the 1,200Wh of the AMYET S8, which holds the largest single pack we cover. It is also a large part of why the bike weighs what it does.
Then EUNORAU claims 220 miles, and it does not hold
Take their own two numbers and divide. 2,808Wh over 220 miles requires the bike to consume 12.8 watt-hours per mile.
A more honest figure for a machine of this weight and frontal area, ridden in the mixed and rough conditions it exists for, is somewhere between 22 and 30Wh per mile. Take 25 as the middle:
All three packs: 2,808Wh ÷ 25Wh per mile = 112 miles
Standard pack alone: 832Wh ÷ 25Wh per mile = 33 miles
All three, ridden hard on loose climbs at 35Wh per mile: 2,808 ÷ 35 = 80 miles
≈112 miles
2,808Wh ÷ 25Wh per mile. Half EUNORAU's claim, and still the longest range on this site by a wide margin.
That is the point worth making clearly: the honest number is a better advertisement than the claimed one. A hundred and twelve miles from a bike that will climb anything is remarkable. Two hundred and twenty is a number nobody can plan a ride around, and quoting it costs EUNORAU credibility they did not need to spend. 110 lb changes how you own the bike
EUNORAU publishes 50 kg, or approximately 110 lb. That is nearly twice the VTUVIA SF20H at 60 lb and well over the META26's 68.4 lb, and it is not a specification you absorb — it is a specification you organise your life around.
Concretely, and before you order:
No standard car rack. Most hitch and trunk racks are rated near 60 lb per bike. A 110 lb bike needs a hitch rack explicitly rated well above that, and often an e-bike-specific one with a loading ramp.
No carrying it upstairs. Not up a flight, not through a hallway, not alone.
Ground-level storage, or a ramp. A garage, a shed, a ground-floor bike room. A basement with steps is a problem you will solve exactly once and then stop using the bike.
Picking it up after a fall is a two-person job, or a slow and awkward one-person job on a slope.
None of this makes the FLASH a bad bike. It makes it a bike you ride from where it lives. If your riding starts with putting a bike on a car, this is the wrong machine, and the META26 or the SF20H are the realistic alternatives.
The payload figure that is not there
This is the single most significant omission in any listing on this site.
EUNORAU publishes no maximum payload for the FLASH. Not a conservative one, not a vague one — none. Every other bike we cover publishes a figure: 330 lb for all three AMYETs, 330 lb for two VTUVIAs and 350 lb for the third, 286 lb for the META26, 300 lb for the SPECTER-S. On a bike that is plainly built to carry weight over rough ground, the number that tells you how much weight is absent.
The 1,000 lb figure is not the answer
You will see 1,000 lb quoted around this bike, and it is easy to read as a payload rating. It is not. EUNORAU publishes it as the load rating of the KZ-209 rear shock — a specification for the damper unit, describing what that component is built to handle.
A bike's payload is set by the weakest link across the frame, the wheels and rims, the spokes, the tires, the brakes and the suspension linkage together. A shock that can take 1,000 lb tells you nothing about any of the others. Quoting it as though it were the bike's limit would be a straightforward error, and we will not repeat it.
Everything else EUNORAU leaves blank
The payload is the worst of it, but it is not alone, and the pattern is what concerns us.
No sensor type. EUNORAU does not say whether the FLASH uses a torque sensor or a cadence sensor. This is an odd thing to omit anywhere and a strange one to omit on a mid-drive, where the sensor decides the entire character of the machine: a torque sensor makes 220 Nm feel proportional to your effort, while a cadence sensor makes it arrive as a surge once the cranks turn. Both the META26 and the SPECTER-S publish torque sensors. The FLASH publishes nothing.
No charge time. With up to 2,808Wh to fill, this is not a trivial gap.
No rider height range. No fit guidance at all on a bike with a single frame size.
No water-resistance rating, and no certification stated on the listing. EUNORAU states a UL certification for the SPECTER-S, so the silence here is a difference within their own range rather than a brand-wide policy.
No peak motor figure, only the 1000W rated number.
Any one of those is forgivable. Together they mean more of this purchase rests on trust than we are comfortable with at $2,499, and they are the reason we would send a documentation-minded buyer to the SPECTER-S even though it has less torque and costs $500 more.
Who should actually buy it
Buy the FLASH if you climb steep, loose or loaded ground and want the one machine here that genuinely solves that; if you want more usable range than anything else on this site and will pay for two extra packs to get it; if you want real full suspension with a named 290mm rear shock rather than a generic dual-shock claim; and if the bike will live at ground level and be ridden from there.
Do not buy it if you need to lift, carry or rack it. Do not buy it if a published payload figure is something you require before spending $2,499 — that is a reasonable requirement and this listing does not meet it. And do not buy it on the strength of the 220-mile claim. Buy it on the strength of 112, which is the number the arithmetic supports and still the best on this site.

Is the 220-mile range claim real?+
Not as a planning figure. Three batteries hold roughly 2,808Wh, and 220 miles from that implies 12.8Wh per mile. A 110 lb full-suspension fat-tire bike with a 1000W mid-drive realistically draws 22 to 30Wh per mile in mixed riding. At 25Wh per mile the same three packs give about 112 miles. That is still the longest range on this site by a wide margin — we would simply rather quote the number you can actually ride to.
What does 220 Nm actually feel like?+
It feels like the hill flattening out. The important part is not just the figure but where it is applied: a mid-drive turns the chainring, so the bike's gears multiply its torque at the wheel. In the lowest gear the FLASH will climb loose, steep ground that a 500W or 750W hub motor simply grinds to a halt on. The trade is that all that force runs through your chain and cassette, which wear faster than they would on a hub-drive bike.
How heavy is 110 lb in practice?+
Heavy enough to change how you own the bike. You will not lift it onto a standard car rack, carry it up a flight of stairs, or pick it up alone if it falls. It needs ground-level storage, a ramp if it goes in a van, and a hitch rack rated well above the usual 60 lb per bike. If any of that is a problem, the META26 at 68 lb or the VTUVIA SF20H at 60 lb are the realistic alternatives.
Why does EUNORAU not publish a payload figure?+
We do not know, and it is the specification we would most want added. The 1,000 lb rating you will see quoted belongs to the KZ-209 rear shock — it is a damper load rating, not a statement about what the frame, wheels and brakes are rated to carry. Every other bike on this site publishes a payload; if it matters to you, ask EUNORAU directly and get the answer in writing.
FLASH or SPECTER-S?+
The FLASH has more torque (220 Nm against 160), more battery capacity, full suspension and a lower price. The SPECTER-S has a Bafang G510 mid-drive with a published torque sensor, SRAM NX 11-speed gearing, a published 300 lb payload, two frame sizes, a published fit range and a stated UL certification. In short: the FLASH is the more powerful machine, the SPECTER-S is the better documented one.
