The FLASH is the more powerful machine: 220 Nm against 160, roughly 2,808Wh of expandable capacity against 1,560Wh, and $500 cheaper. The SPECTER-S is the one you can judge before buying — a named Bafang G510, a published torque sensor, 11 speeds against 8, a 300 lb payload, published fork and shock travel, two frame sizes, a published fit range, a published charge time and a stated UL certification. Every one of those, the FLASH omits. Choose accordingly.

Five hundred dollars, and two ways of being expensive
The FLASH 2.0 is $2,499 and the SPECTER-S 3.0 is $2,999. These are the two most expensive bikes on this site, and on the headline numbers they look like the same kind of thing: full suspension, a 1000W mid-drive, fat tires, hydraulic brakes, a stated weight of 50 kg — about 110 lb — for each, and a two-year warranty.
Read the two listings side by side, though, and they are not the same kind of purchase at all. The FLASH is a bigger set of numbers. The SPECTER-S is a fuller set of them.
The energy, first

$2,499 ÷ 832Wh ≈ $3.00. $2,999 ÷ 840Wh ≈ $3.57. Eight watt-hours apart as standard, five hundred dollars apart in price. Neither is remotely competitive on stored energy — the cheapest bikes we cover sit under a dollar per watt-hour — and neither is pretending to be. At this level nobody is buying cells. The whole question is what the rest of the bike is.
Torque: 220 against 160, and where each one lands
EUNORAU publishes 220 Nm for the FLASH's Truckrun mid-drive and 160 Nm for the SPECTER-S's Bafang G510. That is a real 60 Nm gap and it goes to the cheaper bike, which is unusual enough to say clearly.
Both are mid-drives, so both put their torque through the chain rather than into the wheel directly, and both therefore have their output multiplied by whatever gear you select. That is what makes a mid-drive climb: 160 Nm at the cranks in a low gear is far more than 160 Nm at the wheel, and the same is true of 220.
Eight gears against eleven
Here the multiplication starts to close the gap. The FLASH drives through a Shimano 8-speed cassette; the SPECTER-S drives through SRAM NX 11-speed, the only 11-speed drivetrain on this site. A wider-range cassette gives a lower low gear, and the lower the gear the more the motor's torque is multiplied at the wheel. It also gives you usable steps in between, which matters when the motor is doing enough work that your own cadence has to stay in a narrow band.
So the FLASH has more torque and the SPECTER-S has more gearing to make its own torque count. On steep loose ground the FLASH will still be the stronger machine — 60 Nm is too big a gap to gear away entirely — but it is not the four-to-three margin the numbers suggest. A motor with a name, and a motor with a name
Both motors are named, which is better than the market average. The difference is what the names get you. Bafang's G510, also sold as the M620, is used across many brands: displays, spare parts, firmware and independent shops that know it are all findable years after purchase. That is not glamour, it is the difference between a repair and a write-off in year four on a $2,999 bike. EUNORAU also publishes the SPECTER-S's controller as 48V 30A, roughly 1,440W of electrical input at full draw, where the FLASH publishes no peak figure at all.

This is the heart of the comparison, so it is worth setting out item by item.
Payload. The SPECTER-S is rated to 300 lb. EUNORAU publishes no payload figure for the FLASH at all — the only bike on this site with that blank.
Sensor type. The SPECTER-S states a torque sensor, so assist scales with how hard you press. EUNORAU does not publish a sensor type for the FLASH, which is a strange omission on a mid-drive, where whether the motor answers pedal pressure or merely pedal rotation defines the entire character of the ride.
Suspension travel. The SPECTER-S publishes an inverted fork at 140mm and a DNM rear shock at 190mm, both components named. The FLASH names a KZ-209 rear shock at 290mm and publishes nothing about the fork. A 290mm figure is a shock length rather than a directly comparable travel number, so the two bikes cannot be lined up on rear suspension from the listings at all.
Frame size. The SPECTER-S comes in 17-inch and 19-inch frames — the only bike on this site offered in more than one size. The FLASH comes as it comes.
Rider height. The SPECTER-S publishes 5'3" to 6'4", the tallest ceiling here. The FLASH publishes no fit range, which on a full-suspension frame you cannot correct with a seatpost is a genuinely awkward blank.
Charge time. The SPECTER-S states 5 to 8 hours. The FLASH states nothing, on a bike that can carry roughly 2,808Wh.
Certification. The SPECTER-S listing states UL certification; the FLASH listing states none. The SPECTER-S claim comes with its own caveat — EUNORAU does not name the standard, and UL 2271 covers the pack while UL 2849 covers the complete electrical system. Ask which applies if that is why you are buying. Still, a qualified statement is more than no statement.
Seven blanks is a lot to accept at $2,499. It does not make the FLASH a bad bike; several of those specifications probably exist internally and simply never reached the product page. But you cannot buy what has not been published, and you certainly cannot compare it.
Where the FLASH wins outright
Capacity, by a distance
The FLASH runs a 52V 16Ah pack — 52V × 16Ah = 832Wh — and takes an optional 21Ah top-tube pack and a 17Ah down-tube pack. All three give 52V × 54Ah, approximately 2,808Wh. The SPECTER-S runs 48V 17.5Ah, or 840Wh, and takes an optional 15Ah second pack at 720Wh, for 1,560Wh.
That is 2,808Wh against 1,560Wh — nearly twice the ceiling. On a bike whose entire premise is going a long way over difficult ground, that is not a footnote.
Torque and price, together
More torque for less money is a straightforward win, and it deserves to be stated without hedging. If your priority is the most climbing force available on this site, the FLASH is it, and it costs $500 less than the alternative.
Range, with the arithmetic shown
EUNORAU claims up to 220 miles for the FLASH with all three packs. 2,808Wh ÷ 220 miles = 12.8Wh per mile, which is less than a lightweight road e-bike draws and roughly half what a 110 lb full-suspension fat-tire mid-drive realistically uses. We print the claim because EUNORAU made it and we do not plan rides on it.
At a defensible 25Wh per mile: 2,808Wh ÷ 25 ≈ 112 miles across three packs, and 832Wh ÷ 25 ≈ 33 miles on the standard one.
For the SPECTER-S, EUNORAU claims up to 80 miles on two packs. 1,560Wh ÷ 80 = 19.5Wh per mile, which is believable for a mid-drive with a torque sensor ridden sensibly — a torque sensor tends to draw less than a fixed assist level, which is part of why the claim holds up. At the same pessimistic 25Wh per mile, 1,560Wh ÷ 25 ≈ 62 miles, and 840Wh ÷ 25 ≈ 34 miles on the standard pack.
So the FLASH's ceiling is roughly 112 miles against roughly 62, on comparable assumptions, and its base pack is level with the SPECTER-S's. All of these are estimates from published capacity rather than measurements, and both sets of extra batteries are sold separately at meaningful cost. What they share, and one thing they do not
Both weigh about 110 lb, with everything that implies: no standard car rack, no stairs, no picking it up alone, ground-level storage and a ramp if it travels. Both use 180mm hydraulic disc brakes, though the SPECTER-S adds motor cut-off switches in the levers that kill power the instant either lever moves. Both are full suspension, both are fat-tired, both carry two-year warranties and both ship largely assembled, and neither publishes a water-resistance rating.
Wheels differ, and it matters more than it looks. The FLASH runs CST 20 × 4.0-inch tires; the SPECTER-S runs KENDA 26 × 4.0-inch. Same width, six inches of diameter apart. The larger wheel meets obstacles at a shallower angle and carries speed better over rough ground; the smaller one accelerates harder and lowers the whole bike. Our fat tire guide goes through it.
Speed differs too. The FLASH is capped at 20 MPH. The SPECTER-S claims 28 MPH, exactly the Class 3 ceiling in the three-class framework most US states use — a deliberate place to sit, though path access under Class 3 still varies locally.
The decision
Frame it as simply as it deserves. The FLASH is the more powerful machine. The SPECTER-S is the one you can actually judge before buying.
If you know what you want from a mid-drive, you have somewhere to keep 110 lb at ground level, and you are content to email EUNORAU about payload and sensor type before ordering, the FLASH gives you more torque, nearly twice the expandable capacity and $500 back. That is a real proposition and not a consolation prize.
If you would rather not be emailing anybody — if you want the payload on the page, the sensor stated, the travel figures published, a frame in your size and a certification claim you can at least ask a follow-up question about — the SPECTER-S is worth its $500. Being able to evaluate a bike is not a luxury feature at this price. It is most of what separates a $3,000 bike from a $1,700 one, as META26 vs SPECTER-S sets out in more detail.

Common questions
Is 220 Nm actually 60 Nm better than 160 Nm?
Not quite, because gearing is half the equation. Both are mid-drives, so both have their torque multiplied by whatever gear you select — but the FLASH drives through a Shimano 8-speed cassette and the SPECTER-S through SRAM NX 11-speed, the only 11-speed on this site. A wider range gives a lower low gear and more multiplication at the wheel. The FLASH is still the stronger climber; the gap on steep ground is simply narrower than a straight 220-against-160 reading suggests.
What is the FLASH’s payload?
EUNORAU does not publish one, and it is the only bike on this site with that blank. The 1,000 lb figure you will see quoted belongs to the KZ-209 rear shock — a damper load rating for a single component, not a statement about what the frame, wheels, brakes and tires carry together. The SPECTER-S publishes 300 lb. If payload matters to you, and on a bike of this kind it usually does, ask EUNORAU directly and get the answer in writing before ordering.
Which one goes further?
The FLASH, on capacity: 52V × 54Ah across three packs is roughly 2,808Wh against the SPECTER-S’s 1,560Wh from two. EUNORAU claims 220 miles and 80 miles respectively. The 220 implies 12.8Wh per mile, which is not credible for a 110 lb full-suspension fat-tire bike; the 80 implies 19.5Wh per mile, which is. Does the Bafang motor really matter?
Years into ownership, yes. The G510, also sold as the M620, is fitted across many brands, so replacement displays, spares, firmware and independent shops that know the system are all findable long after the warranty ends. The FLASH’s Truckrun mid-drive is at least named, which is better than an unbranded unit, but it has nothing like the same aftermarket. On a bike costing $2,499 or $2,999 that you intend to keep, parts availability is a real component of value.
Which sensor does the FLASH use?
EUNORAU does not publish it. That is an unusual omission on a mid-drive, where the sensor decides the whole feel of the bike: a torque sensor scales assist to how hard you press, while a cadence sensor simply applies your chosen level whenever the cranks turn. The SPECTER-S states a torque sensor plainly. If the FLASH’s ride quality matters to you as much as its climbing, this is the first question to put to EUNORAU before you order.
Are they both too heavy to transport?
Both are stated at 50 kg, about 110 lb, so neither is realistically liftable. That rules out standard car racks rated for roughly 60 lb per bike, stairs, and righting the bike alone if it falls. Both want ground-level storage and a ramp if they travel by van, plus a hitch rack rated well beyond the usual limits. If any of that is a problem, neither of these is the right bike, and the 68.4 lb META26 is the EUNORAU to look at instead.
