    The most completely documented bike on this site. A Bafang G510 mid-drive at 160 Nm — a motor with a real aftermarket, which matters years after the warranty — through SRAM NX 11-speed gearing, an inverted 140mm fork and a 190mm DNM rear shock with both travel figures published, a torque sensor, a 300 lb payload, and two actual frame sizes across a 5’3” to 6’4” fit range. Twenty-eight MPH sits exactly at the Class 3 ceiling rather than outside the framework.

    Against it: At $2,999 it is about $3.57 per nominal watt-hour, the most expensive energy here, and it weighs 110 lb. EUNORAU says "UL certified" without naming the standard, which is not the same as VTUVIA naming both.

    The sensible EUNORAU. A torque sensor, 26 × 3.0 tires that split the difference between comfort and drag, hydraulic brakes with motor cut-off switches in both levers, Samsung cells named on the listing, app connectivity, and a second battery bay that doubles stored energy to 1,440Wh.

    Against it: A 286 lb payload is the lowest ceiling on this site, and it covers rider plus cargo plus accessories — worth doing the sum before ordering. Fifty-five newton-metres is the lowest torque figure here, and no certification is stated. At $1,699 it is about $2.36 per nominal watt-hour and sits $100 above VTUVIA’s SX20, which adds a switchable torque-or-cadence sensor, a 330 lb payload and a named fork where EUNORAU describes the META26’s only as a front suspension fork.

    Two hundred and twenty newton-metres from a Truckrun mid-drive through eight gears — more than double any hub motor here and multiplied again by the gearing. Genuine full suspension with a 290mm rear shock, and up to roughly 2,808Wh across three packs. Nothing else on this site climbs like it or can be made to go as far.

    Against it: One hundred and ten pounds, which changes how you own the bike entirely. EUNORAU publishes no payload figure at all — the most significant omission in any listing here — and no sensor type, charge time, rider height or certification. The 220-mile claim implies 12.8Wh per mile, which is not credible.

What EUNORAU is actually selling

Gearing. EUNORAU is the only brand on this site with mid-drive motors, and the distinction matters more than any wattage figure. A hub motor pushes the wheel directly, so its torque is fixed whatever gear you are in. A mid-drive turns the chainring, so the cassette multiplies its torque exactly as it multiplies yours. That is why a 1000W mid-drive climbs ground a 1000W hub motor grinds to a halt on.

The second thing EUNORAU sells is expandable capacity. The META26 takes a second 15Ah pack, going from 720Wh to 1,440Wh. The SPECTER-S takes a second 15Ah pack, going from 840Wh to 1,560Wh. The FLASH takes two more, reaching roughly 2,808Wh. Unlike most range claims, extra packs are simple arithmetic — twice the cells really do hold twice the energy.

What to be careful about

EUNORAU's listings are uneven. The SPECTER-S publishes fork travel, shock travel, payload, rider height, charge time, frame sizes and a certification. The FLASH publishes no payload figure at all, no sensor type, no charge time, no rider height and no certification — and the 1,000 lb figure you will see quoted for it belongs to the rear shock, which is a damper load rating rather than a statement about what the bike may carry.

Its 220-mile range claim also does not survive arithmetic. Roughly 2,808Wh over 220 miles implies 12.8 watt-hours per mile, which is less than a light road e-bike uses and about half what a 110 lb full-suspension fat bike realistically draws. At a more honest 25Wh per mile the same three packs give about 112 miles — still the longest range on this site by a wide margin, and a figure you could plan a trip around.

Which EUNORAU should most people buy?

The META26 at $1,699, unless you specifically need mid-drive climbing. It has the torque sensor, the brake cut-off levers, the second battery option and a weight — 68.4 lb — that you can still live with. At $1,699 it sits above every VTUVIA rather than inside their band, so the case for it is the specification rather than the price — but nothing else EUNORAU sells comes within 40 lb of it. The SPECTER-S is the better machine in almost every respect and costs $1,300 more; the FLASH is the most powerful and the least documented.

What is a mid-drive motor and why does it matter?

A mid-drive sits at the cranks and turns the chainring, so its torque passes through the gears exactly as your own pedalling does. A hub motor drives the wheel directly and is stuck in one effective ratio. On a steep or loose climb, the mid-drive in a low gear multiplies its torque at the wheel far beyond what a hub motor of the same rating manages. The trade is chain and cassette wear, since all that force runs through the drivetrain.

Can I really get 220 miles from the FLASH?

Not as a planning figure. Three batteries hold roughly 2,808Wh, and 220 miles from that implies 12.8 watt-hours per mile. A 110 lb full-suspension fat-tire bike with a 1000W mid-drive realistically draws 22 to 30Wh per mile in mixed riding. At 25Wh per mile the same three packs give about 112 miles — still by far the longest range on this site, and a number you can actually plan around.

How much can the FLASH 2.0 carry?

EUNORAU does not publish a payload figure for it, and that is the most significant gap in any listing on this site. The 1,000 lb rating you will see quoted belongs to the KZ-209 rear shock — a damper load rating, not a statement about what the frame, wheels and brakes are rated to carry. Every other bike here publishes a payload. If it matters to you, ask EUNORAU directly and get the answer in writing.

Is the SPECTER-S worth $2,999?

It depends on whether you will use what it does. At about $3.57 per nominal watt-hour it is the most expensive energy on this site, so you are not buying battery — you are buying a Bafang G510 with a real parts supply, eleven gears, published suspension travel at both ends, a torque sensor, two frame sizes and a fit range that goes to 6’4”. For a rider who climbs regularly and wants a bike that will still be serviceable in five years, that is a coherent purchase. For flat commuting it is a great deal of money.
