VTUVIA electric bikes

VTUVIA now runs from $1,299 to $2,999 across six models, and the older three are the ones willing to write things down: torque in newton-metres, fork travel, rotor material, rider height, bike weight and — on the SF20H — both UL numbers. The three newest listings publish considerably less. Four of the six use a torque sensor, and the FMB is a Bafang mid-drive, so VTUVIA is no longer a hub-motor-only brand.

How the rest of the field compares

AMYET

$639.99 – $1,099

Budget fat-tire, big batteries

AMYET sells direct into the US market at the bottom of the fat-tire price band — $639.99 to $1,099 across the five AMYET models we cover, including the cheapest bike on this site. You get large batteries and high claimed speeds for the money. What you generally do not get is a published torque figure, a stated sensor type, a bike weight, or a payload: AMYET puts most of those numbers into advertising graphics rather than a specification sheet, and we do not transcribe advertising.

See the AMYET range

EUNORAU

$1,699 – $2,999

Mid-drives and multi-battery touring

EUNORAU runs from $1,699 to $2,999 across five models and sells more mid-drives than anyone here, where the gearing multiplies the motor’s torque as well as yours — though VTUVIA and Velotric now sell one each too. Four of the five take optional additional batteries, and the better specification sheets name their components — Bafang, SRAM, Samsung, DNM — rather than leaving them generic. The two newest listings are the thinnest.

See the EUNORAU range

Velotric

$1,399 – $2,499

Certification stated, conditions published

Velotric runs from $1,399 to $2,499 and is the only brand here where every model states both UL 2849 and UL 2271, names its cells to UL 2580, and claims ISO 4210. They are also the only brand on this site that publishes the conditions behind a range figure — a 187-lb rider at PAS 1 on flat roads — instead of a headline number with nothing attached. The six models span the extremes of the site: a 39 lb city bike with the smallest battery we cover, a 75 lb cargo bike with a 176 lb rack, and the only bikes here with indicators.
